Dear my best friend,

Hay Nabila, It’s been 8 months we did not see each other since you moved to Jogjakarta. How are you there? I hope you are always healthy and happy just like me here. I’m glad finally I am able to write this letter to you because I miss you so much. I missed the times when we spent time together like reading a book in the library, going to school together, playing at your house and many more. When can we meet and do something together again? I’m so looking forward to that day. Hmm, do you still remember with mango tree that we planted in front of my house? Now it has turned into a big tree. The fruit is big and very sweet. But unfortunately, you’ve never tasted it yet. If you come here you have to taste it.

Dear Melody,

I have received your letter and I am very happy to read it. Do not worry because I am fine here. I’m also glad to know you are also fine there. I miss you too. I’m smiling right now remembering the good times we shared together. That’s very precious memories for me. Of course I still remember the tree. I remember our clothes that were filled with mud when planting the trees and then we run away because we scolded by your father. Hhaa it was funny remembering that moment. The fruit is certainly very sweet because I get the seed from my grandmother’s house. Will you promise me to keep the tree as a symbol of our friendship?

Thank You! It is because of you that always advised me to keep study hard so you also contribute with what I have achieved here. Hey you also need to study hard there to achieve your dreams. You want to be a doctor, right? I’m sure you can make it comes true someday.

I’m glad we have the same goal to continue our study at UGM. Then we must work hard to make it happen so that we can be together again. Definitely I will always pray for you because you are my best friend that I have in this world. Hopefully we still become friends even though we are separated by a great distances.

Hey melody, Thank you for giving a memorable time in my life. I’m so looking forward to the day when we meet again because there are a lot of stories I want to tell you and I also want to hear yours.
